Six people have reportedly been rescued from a fire in a seven storey block of flats in Bloomsbury, London.
Some fifty-eight firefighters and eight fire engines from Kensington, Clerkenwell, Islington, Paddington, Knightsbridge and surrounding stations are reported to be at the scene and a fourth floor flat is understood to still be alight.
Pictures posted on social-media from witnesses at the scene showed emergency services attending to some of the injured. Two men are being treated for smoke inhalation.
It is not yet known how the fire started. The London Fire Brigade say firefighters are working hard to stop the blaze spreading to the rest of the building.
